To our patients:
As we gradually reopen our practice, we are making every effort to create a safe environment for patients and staff.
Respiratory droplets, from talking, have been shown to linger in the air for 8 to 14 minutes! See the article below. This is why we are enforcing the following:
-All patients must come in wearing a mask or face covering! Dr. Seidman and our staff will also be wearing masks.
-Breath shields have been placed on our slit lamps.
-Please refrain from talking while Dr. Seidman is performing an exam or procedure. She will speak to you once she completes her exam and a safe distance of 6 feet is attained.
-Please limit talking at the reception desk and in the waiting room.
-We will only be scheduling 2 patients per hours, in order to maintain social distancing.
-Patients may wait outside until they are called in for their visit.
-If patients are being dilated, they may take a walk outside while waiting for the drops to work (typically 20-30 min).
-We will keep our windows open as the weather permits.
Please call our office ahead of your appointment with any additional questions/concerns you may have. We thank you for your cooperation and helping us to keep our community safe.
